About

The Book

In December of 2010, Joan McClendon and Jaimee Bingle had the same vision on the same day at the same time in different churches. It wasn’t until the next day that the two realized that God had spoken to them about the writings of a book that would include women’s testimonies. It soon would become “Life on the Fringe: Testimonies of Women Moving Beyond Desperation to Faith.”

And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. Rev. 12:11

Both women knew that God wanted to speak powerfully through women’s testimonies. They believed that this book of more than 30 testimonies of women would bring healing to many other women struggling through similar circumstances. The book would act as a seed of healing revival in women in northern Indiana and southern Michigan and then spread across the nation and the world.

In addition to the testimonies, the book includes an intensive study of the woman with the issue of blood according to Luke 8 and Mark 5.
